If you are receiving a phishing email initiated by the Information Security Office at Salt Lake Community College or if you are looking to better understand Phishing emails and how to identify and deal with them in an effective way, SLCC has established a Security Education Platform where you can go for this additional training.
This training can be accessed through the MySLCC account by following these steps;
1) Log into your MySLCC account. Scroll to the Employee Training card and click on the Security Awareness Training link.
2) Log in with your SLCC Employee email address and your MySLCC password. This will log you into the Security Education Platform portal.
3) It will be here that you will be able to initiate any required training that has been assigned to you. They will be listed at the top of the section titled; My Assignments.
As you scroll down, you will see, and select additional training that provides an informative and fun way of learning how to identify, avoid and resolve a wide variety of security issues ranging from passwords to emails, mobile devices and personal information.
5) Your progress and final grading can be tracked by clicking on the My Report Card at the top of the page.
6) From this page you can track your progress, your grades based on each training module you have completed.
