OIT Planned Outage Notification 2/7/2021

Sunday February 7 2021: Banner and MySLCC Outage

 

Outage Summary: 

 

OIT will be performing patching to Banner and related systems system beginning at 5:00 AM. Sunday, February 7, 2021.  These systems will be unavailable from 5:00 AM Sunday, February 7 through 2:00 PM the same day.

 

Banner, Degree Works, MySLCC, Mobile, SLCCBuy, the Library Research Databases, Elevate, the ODS, Cognos and Etrieve will be unavailable during this outage window.

 

Canvas will be available during the Banner outage and can be accessed by going directly to https://slcc.instructure.com/login/saml. and logging in using your my.slcc username and password.  Because this link uses a different authentication process and does not use single-sign-on, it’s important for students, faculty, and staff to test their access to Canvas using this link. If you have trouble logging in, you will need to change your password.  Please test your access before Friday, February 5 at 2:00 PM so you will be able to get help if you need it. You will be able to reset your password until the outage starts on Sunday. Please go to the Salt Lake Community College - Password Reset Utility (slcc.edu) link to reset your password if needed. You can also reach out to the OIT Help Desk at 801-957-5555 for assistance.
