Unplanned Outage Notice 9/11/2020

UPDATE: Saturday, September 12th, 2020: College Hosted Systems

 

Outage Summary:

Currently OIT is still experiencing this Unplanned Outage of college hosted systems, we are working diligently to resolve this issue. We will keep you posted as updates occur.

 

Faculty and students can still access Canvas via https://slcc.instructure.com/login/saml using your usernme@slcc.edu username if Faculty or Staff and your bruinmail.slcc.edu email address as the username if you are a student.

Friday, September 11th, 2020: College Hosted Systems

 

Outage Summary:

Starting around 1PM we encountered a problem with the main SLCC data room networking, causing a loss of access to the college website (www.slcc.edu), campus phones and Jabber, and other college hosted services. Canvas is available through this link, https://slcc.instructure.com/login/saml, SLCC email, as well as other cloud services, such as WebEx and Zoom, are working fine. We are working diligently to correct this issue and will send a notification once connectivity is restored.

Outage Window: Unplanned, will be notified of recovery.
