Current time frames for restoration of service are speculative still, but could come online at various times throughout the late-morning through late-afternoon based on multiple factors including when individual fiber splices occur. The more official ETR has been published as 6p for the entire repair, but we could see service for many sites much earlier than that.
If you would like to keep track and receive updates on any alerts about this outage there are several ways as listed below.

Thursday May 16, 2019: Miller, Jordan, and Meadowbrook
UEN reported a fiber cut between Draper and Riverton that is affecting internet, wireless, and voice at the Miller, Jordan, and Meadowbrook campuses. Century Link technicians have been dispatched to assess the damage to the fiber and there is no estimated time of resolution. We will update as information becomes available.
The damage to the fiber has been assessed as extensive and will take considerable effort to repair. This will require splicing at multiple points along the path and a major roadway will need to be closed down in order to access the damaged infrastructure. UEN is working to re-route traffic through alternate links where possible to help mitigate the disruption in service. The projected estimated time of resolution is late morning into early afternoon on Friday the 17th of May.
Today at 12:53PM, services have been restored at the Miller, Jordan, and Meadowbrook campuses.
Please use cell phones as needed.
