Cisco Unified Call Manager User Options
Open a ticket for Infrastructure to have your profile configured in CallManager
For your abbreviated dialing, (speed dialing)
Enter the following URL in your browser tool bar:
You will get an error that states:
“There is a problem with this website's security certificate,”
click on “Continue to this website.”)
Login using your network credentials.
Use the drop down menu under ‘User Options’ . ‘Find and List Personal Address Book Entries’
Click the radio button to ‘Add New’
You will find a work-sheet there to program your abbreviated dialing. For speed dialing on this system you need a button appearance available. All on your telephone are programmed. Once you program your numbers, you can just hit the ‘1’ key (or whichever key you have programmed) you may want to print your list out for quick reference.
Select ‘user options’ – in the upper left hand corner.
Then ‘device’ in the drop down menu. Make sure that the name of the device starts with SEP followed by the MAC number. The MAC: address can be found on the bottom of your phone, on the manufacturer’s label.
Then the ‘speed dial’ (radio button on the bottom), or tool bar icons along the top ribbon.
Enter the phone number you want added, next to the number it will be assigned to. Don't forget to put a 9 in front of external numbers.
Click on the Save button and then click on the Apply Config button.
Let your phone reload and then proceed with testing instructions below.
Testing on your telephone:
Select the key you have programmed for each abbreviated dial number, then select ‘AbbrDial’ soft key and it will dial the number.
Once you program your selections, you may want to take a snapshot of it, or print it. Please let me know if you have any problems programming or logging in.
