Faculty Without Faculty Tab
Faculty need to be identified in Banner as Faculty (as well as Employee) so they will have the Faculty tab in MySLCC.
The faculty’s division/department will usually complete this task. Human Resources and Payroll do not take that action.
When people in the division/department office are new, they may not know they have the responsibility of identifying the person as Faculty. When that is the case, they can send an e-mail to Scheduling Office with the subject New Faculty. The information they will need to supply is the faculty name, S# and the classes they have been assigned to teach. The Scheduling Office will then add the person as faculty. As soon as that is done, the Faculty tab will be available.
